FREE Donation Pickup of Unwanted Items

It’s the end of the season and you are looking for a way to discard unwanted items that have not sold. When you donate your unwanted past season items to the Elderly Pet Organization, you are helping to put an end to senior pet abandonment.

We accept clothing, handbags, jewelry, shoes, home decor items, electronics, watches, and seasonal items. Donated items are auctioned to benefit the Rehoming Project.

We accept most items. We do not accept large, heavy or awkward items like artwork, framed pictures, furniture, or toys.

All donations are tax deductible and we will provide you with a donation receipt upon pickup of your items.

It is estimated that more than 6.5 million pets are surrendered to shelters each year and 1.5 million unwanted pets are euthanized, primarily due to shelter overcrowding. Although shelters and other facilities work very hard to find new homes for these pets, the fact is, shelter overcrowding continues to be a growing problem around the country. Shelters simply do not have the resources to deal with large amounts of animals being surrendered each day.

Your donation helps support the Rehoming ProjectThe goal of the Rehoming Project is to convey a public message that rehoming is the responsible choice over surrendering a pet to a shelter. We believe we can change the course for millions of unwanted pets through outreach and awareness of this message.

We are passionate about helping all pets who need and deserve a loving home environment. The Elderly Pet Organization’s mission is to provide information and education about senior pets and to provide access to resources for at-risk senior pets. We believe that our Rehoming Project awareness and outreach program is the solution to reducing animal overcrowding at shelters and can ultimately put an end to premature euthanization due to shelter overcrowding.
